Society Profile

The Council of the Brown Swiss Cattle Society comprises ordinary members who have been nominated and elected to the Council for a two year term at the Society’s AGM.

The Council has four meetings annually to discuss and decide upon issues that affect Society members and the Brown Swiss cattle in the UK.

Current Council Members and their contact details are listed below. Should anyone have queries regarding any aspect of the breed please do feel free to contact any of the Council Members.

The Society Office is based at Clomendy Farm, Llangain, Carmanthenshire and is manned by Sian Williams. Office hours are Mondays to Wednesdays 9am – 1pm. Messages will be also picked up by ansaphone anytime of the week and will be replied to as soon as possible.

Please note the new showing rules which states that any animal shown in specified Brown Swiss classes born after 1/1/17 must be over 51% pedigree Brown Swiss – UK BROWN SWISS society rules should be sought and recognised by individual shows
